Ooohh...purplicious.
If we must come up with a new word and have it added in the dictionary just to accurately describe Paint Me Purple Ube Lager, this would be it.
But really, we have no idea how long that would take. And since we’ve just released our eye-catching seasonal brew once again, we’ll let the craft enthusiasts that’ve tried the beer during its first release describe it for everyone.
Here’s what they’ve said about Paint Me Purple Ube Lager:
We’ll imagine the oven as the brewhouse or ‘hot side’ of our brewery and the use of malt to resemble the impression of a baked bread. As for the first sip, we’re tipping our hats off to this description. There’s no other way to truly experience a craft beer other than sipping it again and again, even when you end up finishing your four-pack.
Is it possible to be surprised by the same thing twice? We’re about to find out.
We love it when craft drinkers use their senses in experiencing a beer. Appreciation begins in the eyes in checking the color and head (or collar on top of the glass). Next up is the taste and finally the mouthfeel. Is sound part of the experience? We’d like to say it is when there’s a satisfying ‘aaahhh’ right after the first sip.
Ube has caused quite a stir as an ingredient in many craft breweries particularly in the United States. They hark back to Ube as a Filipino staple usually enjoyed by locals in desserts. For us at Engkanto, we made sure that the natural Ube flavor comes out complemented by subtle coconut notes. Fancy an Ube Macapuno?
Yeeaah! Couldn't have said it any better.
More beer enthusiasts have asked for the return of Paint Me Purple Ube Lager, and it’s exactly the reason we brewed a fresh, aromatic, and delicious new batch. It’s uniquely Filipino and it shows why we can easily enjoy the drink. If you’re really into Ube, how can you not try this?
